Patrick Dempsey

Patrick Galen Dempsey (born January 13, 1966) is an American actor, best known for playing Dr. Derek Shepherd (a.k.a. "McDreamy") on Grey's Anatomy. On May 4, 2010, it was officially confirmed that Dempsey has been cast in Transformers 3 as Mikaela Banes' boss, though with the departure of Megan Fox (and the presumed replacement of her character), it is currently unclear if Dempsey's role has been significantly changed.
