Of the warriors who stand with Soundwave, Laserbeak may say the least, but he quickly distinguishes himself, as his powerful laser attacks can pin down an Autobot attack force... when it isn't cutting them to shreds.

When Optimus and his team attempted a prison break to free Zeta Prime, Laserbeak was Soundwave's last line of defense, ejecting from Soundwave and screeching across the prison chamber at high speeds, blasting (what else?) laser bursts onto the fighters below.
