Fiction

Alpha Prime is the first known Matrix-bearer and was succeeded by Guardian Prime.

Aaron Archer's original back-of-a-dinner-napkin outline for the Transformers Cybertron series included a character named "Alpha Prime", who in later drafts became Vector Prime.
