Gauntlet (WFC)
- Gauntlet is a neutral Cybertronian from the Transformers: Prime continuity family.
This character has no official visual representation in any Transformers product or media... yet, at least.
Gauntlet was the militia magistrate for the High Council in the last days before the war began. A true believer in the caste system and the millitary world into which he had been "born" as soon as he had emerged from the Well of Allsparks. He took real Pride in the millitary history of his training ground at Fort Scyk and of Stanix itself. The single regret in what he considered a full and worthwhile existence was that he never had the chance to take part in "large-scale" combat. Given his fate there's a real irony in that.

Prime continuity
Gauntlet was aware of the growing power of the revolutionary Megatron and felt he was a low-class malcontent that would be easily delt with when the council finally gave him aproval to sweep out the cesspools of Kaon and the Badlands.
Unfortunately Fort Scyk was bombed as part of the terrorist acts that began the build-up to the Autobot/Decepticon war. Gauntlet was killed in the attack.
