Space bridge 687-030 was involved in a battle somewhere in outer space. There, the Autobots Rodimus Prime, Hot Shot, Red Alert, Brawn, and Ironhide battled the likes of Team Chaar, composed of Strika, Spittor, Cyclonus, Blackout, and Oil Slick for control of the space bridge.

Cyclonus emerged in his jet mode out of a cloud of dust and creates a huge gust of wind that lifted Ironhide, Brawn,and Hot Shot off their feet. Strika and Oil Slick head for the fallen triad, but Ironhide activated his titanium armor as Strika fired plasma blasts from her turrets. Brawn used this time to pick up a huge chunk of rock from the ground and threw it at Strika. It almost hit Oil Slick, who briefly gets shaken. Strika then fired at Hot Shot, who activated his flamethrowers to destroy some of the plasma blasts. However, one is able to escape his flames of fury, and badly injured his leg.

His leg broken, he called for a medic. Red Alert arrived on the scene, x-rayed his lower leg, then amputates it. She repairs it, but tells him that he may need a replacement soon. Just as Hot Shot asked for a second opinion, Spittor uses his many mechanical tongues to grab hold of Red Alert. She is then upchucked, covered in orange explosive slime, towards Brawn and Ironhide. The resulting explosion knocks all three of them out, and Strika and Oil Slick move in for the kill.

Rodimus sees the damage, and tries to contact the Autobots orbiting their position, and is divebombed by Cyclunus. However, Ultra Magnus and his team are occupied as well. Longarm Prime then appeared onscreen, and assures him that the space bridge nexus is protected...

Strika was about to crush the fallen Autobots under her fist, but Rodimus is able to fire two arrows at her just in time. Brawn and Ironhide transform and fall back, but Oil Slick released some, er, oil slick, and causes the duo to slide. Cyclonus transformed and smashed the ground with his twin swords, lifting Brawn and Ironhide up into the sky. Spittor ambushed Rodimus, but the Autobot is able to arrow two of his tentacles to the ground. Rodimus looks up, only to see the brute Blackout, who transformed and created a shockwave that knocks Rodimus back and deactivated the space bridge. Strika insults Blackout, then commands him to reactivate the space bridge. Blackout apologizes, then reactivates the space bridge. Strika orders Cyclonus and Oil Slick to wrap up Hot Shot, Ironhide, and Brawn, then to free Spittor. Rodimus tries to retaliate, but Oil Slick tosses a vial of Cosmic Rust solution, and freezes Rodimus right in his tracks.

Strika contacts Shockwave that they have taken the sapace bridge and requests access codes to his location, but he informs her that no one is to make a move until Megatron and his own team arrive on Cybertron. Strika is concerned, saying that he was supposed to be there megacycles ago... TransWarped
