Bitstream is a Decepticon Seeker from the Prime continuity family.

Bitstream (along with Hotlink) was one of Starscream's go to, trusted, tech engineers in the early days of the war. His function was "information engineer" and he was also one of Starscream's elite Air Commanders. He had the ability to create "a secure and invisible diagnostic computer space." Well rounded fellow.

Exodus: The History of the War for Cybertron

On Trypticon Station Starscream trusted the pair of Bitstream and Hotlink enough to leave Dark Energon to them while he dealt with more important things. Perhaps because of their status as Seekers they survived when Megatron purged the station's crew. Later, he and Hotlink were the tech force on Starscream's mission to activate the Geosynchronous Energon Bridge Exodus: The Official History of the War for Cybertron
