Leonard Nimoy (March 26, 1931-) is an American actor and director. He provided the voice of Galvatron in The Transformers: The Movie.

Oh, and apparently he also played an alien on some old sci-fi show, alongside fellow Transformers voice actor George Takei.

Notes

  • Nimoy is married to Susan Bay who is first cousin to director Michael Bay, and apparently it was due to their considerable donations to Griffith Observatory that Michael was allowed to film parts of Transformers there.[1]
  • Nimoy guest starred in the first-season finale of Fringe, which was created, executive-produced and written by Alex Kurtzman and Roberto Orci.
  • According to Orci, he was at one point considered for the role of The Fallen in Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen.[2] Nimoy himself was waiting to be in Transformers once more since his role in the '86 movie. This is what happens when you don't ask the people you're hiring if they actually want to be in the movie.
