You can't see me!

This character has no official visual representation in any Transformers product or media... yet, at least.
Spiketail is a mystery.
He was probably not going to have friends named Longneck, Threehorn, Bigmouth, and Flyer.
Toys
Beast Machines
- Around December of 2000, the online retailer BigBadToyStore put up a list of upcoming Transformers product from Hasbro. Although the main point of interest was a Transtech assortment listing, there were several tail-end and unreleased Beast Machines: Battle for the Spark toys mentioned as well.
- Two basics listed as coming out after March of 2001 were Screechwing and Spiketail. Spiketail is described as "redeco skuni" - what is generally assumed by fans to be a typo for redeco skunk.
- Presumably, then, Spiketail was to be a redeco of Stinkbomb, the Transmetal 2 skunk from Beast Wars. However, with the early demise of Beast Machines, the complete retail abortion of Transtech, and the importation of Car Robots as Robots in Disguise, Spiketail never saw the light of day.
Notes
- "Spike Tail" was the name of a Stegosaurus figure from Kenner's 1997 Jurassic Park: The Lost World toyline [1]. The trademark was subsequently registered by Hasbro as "Spike-Tail", which they still owned in 2000/2001. As such, it's possible that, if he had been released, Spiketail's name would have been parsed with a dash.
