Wing (IDW)

Wing is a Transformer from the IDW portion of the Generation 1 continuity family.

Not much is known about the mysterious Wing. He is neither Autobot nor Decepticon(though according to some he sounds like the former), disgiuses himself as to not appear Cybertronain, and wields swords as his main weaponry. He's probably gonna bite it at some point.

Wing stumbled upon Deadlock while overlooking a strange facitlity on an unkown planet. Upon approaching the Decepticon, Deadlock took offensive measures against Wing, who would contiously dodge the assualt, never laying a finger on his opponent. After convincing Deadlock that he meant no harm, Wing identified the structre as a base for slave traders. Wing stuck a deal with Deadlock, offering his assistance in aquiring a ship in exchange for helping him free the prisoners. After the two take down a pair of security guards Wings garbs are set aflame, revealing himself to be Cybertronian. He claims that he is neither Autobot or Decepticon and simply "alone." Before they strike, Wing asks for Deadlock's name, who uses the alias "Drift." As they go into the encampment, Deadlock deserts Wing for a ship to escape the planet, though is stopped by one of the traders. Wing then somehow rescued Deadlock from this predicament and took him back to Crystal City for repiars. Drift #1
