- The Grid is a communications network from the Transformers: Prime continuity family.
The Grid sees all and hears all on Cybertron, and it is constantly monitored by the Hall of Records to update the DataNet.
Its full name in the Exodus novel is the Communication Grid. The monitor of Orion Pax, which was Optimus Prime's original identity and pre-form before earning the Matrix of Leadership and by so, a portion of Primus' power, was hooked up to the Grid, recording the information and archieving it.
