Content
Strategy guide
This part contains the strategy guide of the game Transformers: Mystery of Convoy.
Comics
The book features a series of short comics, acting as a "guide" to defeating the major bosses of each stage. Each title contains the trick to defeat the boss. Six of the game's ten stages are represented in comic strip form, with usually no more than three or four panels per strip. The battles are dramatized with dialogue and typically last just long enough to show what move is necessary to defeat each boss.
The comic is drawn by Akira Tanizaki.

Ultra Magnus jumps to destroy one of the Twin Planets before he transforms into vehicle mode to destroy the other one.
Stage 4: Use Jump-and-Shoot to Deal with the Decepticon Ship
Ultra Magnus jumps in order to shoot the glittering object beneath the head of the Decepticon Ship, which is ship's weak point.
Stage 5: Menasor's Weak Point is His Forehead!
The Stunticons show up in front of Ultra Magnus and merge into Menasor. Ultra Magnus avoids Menasor's attack and jumps to shoot the glittering object on his forehead.
Stage 7: Watch Out for Bruticus's Shoulder Beam!
Bruticus makes a surprise attack on Ultra Magnus from behind, but fails. After jumping to avoid the attack, Ultra Magnus shoots at Bruticus's forehead and defeats him.
Stage 10: Arriving at Last! It's Megatron the Leader!

Ultra Magnus faces Megatron in a hard fight, getting shot by Megatron's flame thrower. However, Ultra Magnus manages to turn the tide by using a "Hyper Jump Shot" to shoot Megatron's forehead multiple times and thus successfully defeat him.
Notes
- The comic part was later collected an reprinted, but without the dialogue, as the special feature in the artbook Transformers Visualworks in 2007.
