This article is about the Power Core Combiners Mini-Con. For the Super Link Micron Booster Mini-Con named "Beacon" in Japan, see Snowblind.
Beacon is a Autobot-allied Mini-Con from Power Core Combiners.
Mmmmmmmmmh, beacon.

Beacon acts as the spotter to the Autobot Steelshot when the later is in his cannon form. Together they can hit targets up to 100 miles away. He has a multitude of alternate modes that enhance his larger partner's combat capabilities making him twice as powerful as before.

Power Core Combiners

  • Steelshot with Beacon (Commander Class, 2010)
Part of a future wave of Power Core Combiners Commander Class figures, Beacon is a redeco of Backwind, transforming from a small robot into a double-armed cannon/winch, a massive hand-held claw-weapon, and chest armor for compatible Power Core Combiner super robot forms. He comes packaged with his larger partner Steelshot, who lacks the chest-mounted Powerlinx port needed for Beacon's chest armor mode, so he plugs into the Powerlinx port on Steelshot's back/gun turret.

This item is currently scheduled for release, but is not yet available at mass retail.

Notes

  • Due to the fact that he has a screwhole in his chest instead of the standard Powerlinx port, Beacon is actually capable of pegging onto any 5mm post. This is awesome. However, he is incapable of activating any Powerlinx gimmicks on previous Powerlinx compatible toys. Not so awesome.
