Shadowcaster

Shadowcaster is a Decepticon from the G1 continuity family.

Shadowcaster was the apparent leader of a Decepticon base located somewhere in the heart of Decepticon territory, and was the target of a joint mission by the Autobot Elite Guard Combaticons and the Strike Team.

His leadership, if he truly had one, didn't last long.

Timelines: Wings of Honor

Shadowcaster was the subject of a rather swift yet brutal assassination by the Autobot Elite Guard. In particular, Onslaught's Combaticons and Metalhawk's Strike Team. The Combaticons had been brought on board to "decapitate" the growing Decepticon insurgency, any means necessary. Shadowcaster found out the hard way that included smoking out Decepticon leaders by bombing their hide out and shooting them in the head...all while observing the chaos from a safe distance.The Coming Storm: Part 3

Perhaps Shadowcaster got the last laugh though, as his base and his leadership role were apparent misdirection. A trap set by the Decepticon Warlord Deathsaurus to lure the Combaticons away from the Elite Guard for his own twisted purposes.The Coming Storm: Part 4

Notes

• Shadowcaster would appear to share the Seeker body type.
• Similarly, one of Shadowcaster's soldiers is also very much similar to the Seekers from G1. Actually, he looks a lot like Thrust despite the editor insisting they are indeed separate characters.
