Bob Lewis (born January 10, 1922 in Brooklyn, New York) also known as Bob Lubbers, is an American comic artist. At the age of 18, he sold his first comics work to Centaur Comics, and worked for them briefly before moving to publisher Fiction House, where he worked on a number of their titles as art director. In 1950, he joined United Feature Syndicate, where he became famous for his work on Tarzan and Secret Agent X-9. He also took over drawing, and eventually writing, UFS's syndicated comic Long Sam. In the late 60s, he created the newspaper strip Robin Malone, which he wrote and drew until 1970. In the 70s and 80s he began working for Marvel and D.C., eventually retiring in 1989.
