- Sky-Byte is a Decepticon from the Transformers Animated continuity family.
In the annals of Cybertron history, truly there can be no greater poet than Sky-Byte. While he might be a Decepticon, so breathtaking is his work that even the mightiest of Autobots revere it!
He looks freaking terrifying.

- According to Jim Sorenson and Bill Forster, Sky-Byte is a retool of Lugnut.
- Seriously, his face will give you nightmares.
- Back in 2008, Derrick Wyatt drew up his own version of Animated Sky-Byte, which he later revealed on his Twitter account. It, uh, looks nothing like the one that appears in the Almanac, and is much less terrifying. Synergy!
- Jim has stated that had that sketch been available at the time of writing, Wyatt's version would have been what was in the Almanac.
