The Minnow is a ship from the Generation 1 continuity family

For 20 years we were hoping it was called Battlestar Galactica...

The Minnow was a vessel used by the Junkions. It was kept buried under huge piles of rubbish when not in use. It was eventually destroyed by Unicron.

That launched from good old planet Junk

At Cybertron arrive they did
Flame breath it couldn't avoid,
If not for the repair skills of the fearless crew,

They fought the Chaos Bringer for as long as they could fight
With Wreck-Gar,
Ultra Magnus too,
Perceptor, perhaps Blurr,
Maybe Wheelie,
And the rest,
Before Unicron crushed it to scrap!

Notes

• This vessel went nameless for over 20 years. It was retroactively called the Minnow in The Complete Ark reference book.
• If you haven't figured it out by now, the Minnow shares it name with the boat the characters from the TV show Gilligan's Island were on when a storm marooned them on a uncharted isle.
• Wreck-Gar introduces the Minnow with the line "new, improved Junkion planet is sleek, sexy import with turbo handling." This is a leftover from the early script in which the Junkions' planet was their spaceship.
