Mount Jaad is a mountain on the planet Zel Samine. It is home to a massive wind power plant, where numerous windmills collect energy by harnessing the power of the wind. As with all the power plants on Zel, energy collected from the wind has a much higher output than wind power plants on Earth. It is protected by automated defense systems (which don't discriminate good guys and bad guys when it comes to who they blast), and all the energy is stored at a main station. It is the first target of the Decepticons and the first area of Zel that the Autobots protect in Transformers: Call of the Future.

Mount Jaad is a very high mountain, and the conditions are gonna be pretty harsh.

Call of the Future

In the Autobot side of the story, Jazz discovered that the Decepticons were attacking the power plant and reported his findings to Optimus Prime. Once they got there, the Autobots wasted no time getting into a fight with their enemies. After fighting through swarms of Decepticons, including Mindwipe and Soundwave, the Autobots managed to reach the main station. There, they fought off the triple changer Blitzwing and discovered their companion Bumblebee. The Paradius United Government sent the Autobots their thanks for their deed, which assured Optimus Prime that the people of the Paradius system did not just see the Transformers as contaminants to their institution.

In the Decepticon Story, Megatron and Soundwave discovered the power plant when researching Zel. Starscream complained that wind power only had a feeble output, but Soundwave assured him that wind power on Zel was greater than that on Earth. The Autobots predicted the Decepticons were going to attack Mount Jaad and had already sent their troops to defend it. It did them no good, as the Decepticons went through the facility, destroying the defense systems and beating down any Autobot who opposed them. Despite the efforts of Brainstorm, Wheeljack, and Hound, the Decepticons made their way to the main station and helped themselves to the energy collected there. They also received an unexpected bonus, as they found Snapdragon who joined their team. The Transformers
