Talk:Gone but Not Forgotten!
Having already reverted one edit of "References to other Transformers continuities/issues:" to "References to past issues" I now realize that this change was intentionally made. It has been my understanding that the full "References to other Transformers continuities/issues:" had been intended to be the standard template, so as to include the possibility for cross-continuity references within the standard format. (For an example that actually isn't in the comics at all, RiD Prime mentioning Vector Sigma) If the consensus is that all instances of "References to other Transformers continuities/issues:" should be reverted, we should say so explicitly.
As a related note, I have considered Warrior School to be the template for all comic issues.--G.B. Blackrock 15:41, 23 May 2006 (UTC)
If I had to guess, the editor's thinking was that the "References to ____" heading could be altered to specifically reflect the content of the note. --ItsWalky 19:47, 23 May 2006 (UTC)
- No doubt, but that certainly wasn't my thinking. (Not that I rule this Wiki by any measure) Do I take it that you feel that "References to (insert appropriate bit here)" is standardized enough?--G.B. Blackrock 21:35, 23 May 2006 (UTC)
I think perhaps a simple catch-all title would work better. Just References. I think perhaps it deserves it's own title header -- while the references to other comics and continuities aren't going to be too bulky in these early Marvel issues, in later comics there will be a LOT of explaining to do. Like random Don Japanese text, or appearances by fan characters, etc.
I suggest making this issue, 25, the accepted template for further comic entries. It's a big issue, with lots of things in it. A good source as the standard. Jhiaxus 05:04, 26 May 2006 (UTC)
