Zaur is a Brontobot, a gentle beast that loves to play around water. He is a member of Rosanna's collection of exotic animals.

When Captain Fanzone was accidentally transwarped to Cybertron, Zaur was one of the Transformers who crowded around him, only to flee for their lives when they realized that he was a disgusting organic. This Is Why I Hate Machines

Notes

• Zaur was first revealed in an April Fools image on Derrick J. Wyatt's blog showcasing various characters who might or might not appear in the rest of Season Three.
• He is an homage to the cassette-bot, Saur. Does this mean there's an Animated Dial somewhere?
• Zaur's origins are unknown, but at some point he was acquired by Rosanna, along with Steeljaw and Ramhorn. Transformers Animated: The AllSpark Almanac II
