General Clench is the leader of Team Kaon, a Decepticon strike force presumably based in New Kaon, what with Old Kaon being in Autobot hands and all.

During Megatron's bid to conquer Cybertron using the Autobots' own space bridge technology, Clench led Team Kaon in an attack on an unknown space bridge. Out of six different Decepticon teams, only he and Strika managed to successfully capture their targets, but the invasion could not take place until Megatron himself arrived. After the Autobots suspected what was going on and shut down the space bridge nexus, Megatron ordered Clench and the other Decepticons to fall back.
