Atlus (株式会社アトラス Kabushiki-gaisha Atlus) is a Japanese video game developer and publisher, best known for developing the Megami Tensei and Trauma Center series. Their western branch, Atlus USA, deals strictly in publishing, and is known for localizing Disgaea: Hour of Darkness and other games. Atlus was acquired by Takara in 2003, but fell into the hands of Index Holdings later in 2006.

In October 2003, Atlus published The Transformers, a game developed by Winkysoft and released for the PlayStation 2 in Japan only.
