Transformers Animated: The Cool is a Japanese comic written and drawn by Naoto Tsushima. It was serialized in Kerokero Ace, the first chapter debuting in the May 2010 issue.

Kadokawa will release the Transformers Animated: The Cool - Special Edition collection in April 2011, in which Clear Activators Optimus will be packaged along with it, costing 3150 yen. The first day of preorders opened on October 7, 2010, and the last day for pre-orders was January 14, 2011.

Notes

• Prior to revealing the The Cool project, Tsushima imported the trade paperback collection of The Arrival along with a copy of Transformers Animated: The AllSpark Almanac. He later revealed that he didn't understand a word of English.
