The name or term "Decepticon Headquarters" refers to more than one character or idea. For a list of other meanings, see Decepticon Headquarters (disambiguation).
Decepticon Headquarters is a building on Cybertron from the Armada portion of the Unicron Trilogy continuity family.

Decepticon Headquarters, also known as Megatron's Fortress Headquarters, is the secret base used by the Decepticons directly under Megatron's command for roughly one million years. It is located in Cybertron's eastern peninsula[1] and is equipped with a space bridge for easy travel. Motion blasters make up the bulk of security, which are effective, but certainly not failproof.

Decepticon Headquarters doubles as a prison complex for Mini-Cons, whom the Decepticons systematically hunt for to use their abilities for their own purposes. To make that possible, the prison area is linked to a set of laboratories, the so-called chop shops, where the Mini-Cons are subjected to experimentation and forced reassembly.

Of all the Mini-Cons the Decepticons had abducted from their homes, only the members of the Air Defense Team had been able to escape Decepticon Headquarters, who spread word about the atrocities happening there among the remaining Mini-Con community. The warning was heeded, but in all came too late for the Mini-Cons to properly prepare for the speed and cunning with which the Decepticons executed their attacks. Armada #1 By sheer luck, Sparkplug evaded capture and was taken in by the Air Defense Team. They had a plan to save the others and Sparkplug agreed to help them accomplish it.

When the four arrived at Decepticon Headquarters, Sparkplug was intimidated by the building's defenses, but the Air Defense Team assured him the motion blasters were the only problem. On Sparkplug's subsequent question how they'd get past those then, they presented him with a makeshift jet pack. As Sparkplug was flown all over the place, distracting the motion blasters, the Air Defense Team went inside and freed the captured Mini-Cons. At this point, the building's security system sent out a signal to the Decepticons in Cyber City, but it was already to late for them—or anyone else—to stop the Mmini-Cons from escaping Cybertron and all its bulks. Armada #2

The Mini-Cons did not get very far, as an engine of their ship exploded, leading the ship to crash. Fast forward one million years, a few Mini-Cons and the ship part they were in were reactivated. Triggered, the ship part sent out a signal back to Cybertron, which was picked up by the Decepticons. Upon figuring out what planet it came from, they set their headquarters' space bridge to bring them to Earth. Armada #3 Because the Mini-Con hunt proved a little more troublesome than initially expected, the Decepticons set up a temporary base in Silver Ridge. They never returned to their old headquarters.
