Laser guard

Laser guards are drones from the War for Cybertron portion of the Prime continuity family.

Basically the Cybertronian equivalent of sharks with frickin' laser beams attached to their heads.

Laser guards are flying drones programmed to seek out and destroy the enemy. It's rare to find a laser guard on its own — they're usually dispatched in groups to attack unwary intruders. On rare occasions they may be used in an offensive, but for the most part assigned to patrol captured territory. As their name suggests, they're armed with a single nose-mounted laser. They're especially vulnerable to plasma weaponry.
