Garboil (Animated)

This article is about the purple condor from Animated. For the blue condor from Generation 1, see Garboil (G1).

Garboil is a Decepticon from the Transformers Animated continuity family.

Howlback is happy to not have to hang out with this guy in this continuity family.

Before Soundwave created Laserbeak and Ratbat, he started with prototypes culled from Sumdac Systems technology. Howlback was one of these prototypes. Though he and his fellow prototypes were not a successful attempt at machine life, Soundwave nevertheless released them into Detroit, sowing chaos.

And what chaos he sows! Nicknamed the "wordsnatcher," Howlback blackmails friends and foes alike after watching and recording their every moment. He also creates mayhem with his Méliès-wave generator.

• Garboil was introduced in AllSpark Almanac II.
