Physics!

Correct me if i'm wrong but when Blackarachnia fails to enter the Grand Mal and falls from the sky at the begining of the episode she spins a parachute from her web. Except, being made from web, it has holes in it. Surely then the air would go right through and Blackarachnia would fall just as fast (and land just as hard) with physics laughing all the way down.
