The Decepticon High Command Aerie is a building on Cybertron from the Generation 1 continuity family.

The Decepticon High Command Aerie is Megatron's base of operations during the Age of Internment. It is situated in Praxus and equipped with a laboratory.

Fiction

Dreamwave Generation 1 comics

Upon his return to Cybertron with the Quintesson-donated Aerospace Extermination Squadron as his army, Megatron brought the planet under his rule, establishing his throne in the aerie in Praxus. A portion of the Aerospace Extermination Squadron was appointed as guards, while Megatron's old command unit of Starscream, Soundwave and Shockwave were the only other Decepticons given a position in the High Command Aerie.

That is, while Megatron was sectrely conspiring with (and betraying) the Quintessons, Soundwave was tasked with coordinating the excavation of the core of Cybertron, Shockwave was put to work rewiring the Aerospace Extermination Squadron to be loyal to Megatron alone, and Starscream was put in a tank with hungry Piranacons as punishment for getting in the way of Megatron's grand return. All this made for a functional work environment, The Age of Wrath #2 until one of Shockwave's computers imploded. He suspected this to be the doing of Frenzy and Rumble, but they denied involvement. Shockwave was aware rescuing and resuming his research was more important than finding a culprit who couldn't make the damage undone, so he let them off the hook. After which another mysterious explosion occurred. The Age of Wrath #3

Dreamwave went bankrupt before the The Age of Wrath series was completed. The details of what was supposed to happen in the unreleased issues were eventually provided by Simon Furman on his blog.
Rumble and Frenzy were, in fact, responsible for the explosion. They had been playing a "dead Autobot name" game that included the entry "Grimlock". Grimlock apparently had been haunting the aerie, causing explosions upon hearing his name until eventually he found himself a body in one of the AES drones. First thing he did was KO'ing Shockwave.
