Recharging chamber

A recharging chamber is a device from the cartoon portion of the Generation 1 continuity family.

The recharging chamber was a device aboard the Ark, used by the Autobots to bring themselves back to fighting shape after a battle.

The Autobots used the recharging chamber to charge themselves up after foiling a sneak attack on their headquarters. However, this turned out to be a distraction, as Megatron had used invisibility spray to get to the chamber and sabotage it with a personality destabilizer. As a result, every Autobot except Jazz and Bumblebee was turned evil by the sabotaged chamber. Attack of the Autobots
