Glenn Morshower
| This article is about the actor in Transformers and Revenge of the Fallen. For the character he plays in Revenge of the Fallen, see Morshower. |
Glenn Morshower (born April 24, 1959) is an American actor. Often cast in roles playing military officers or figures of authority, Morshower is perhaps best known for his role as Aaron Pierce on television series 24. He has also played several guest characters in multiple incarnations of Star Trek. Though a Dallas native, the heavy Texan accent he uses for the many of his roles is not actually his normal speaking voice.
On May 23rd, 2008, Fangoria.com reported that Morshower had been cast in the then-unnamed Transformers sequel.[1] Much later, this was confirmed by General Motors' Chicago Auto Show 2009 press release[2].
Morshower was asked by director Michael Bay to star in Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen, despite his previous character having been killed off in the first film. His new role was named after him.[3]
An occasional voice actor, Morshower has played a Commander in Activision's video game juggernaut Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 (Do we smell a crossover?) alongside Keith David and Lance Henriksen.
