Rumble is one of Soundwave's minions. His preferred method of fighting is the head-on charge. He's not exactly subtle. Oh, and he's blue.

After humans who were unrelated to NEST intervened in a battle between Autobots and Decepticons, Rumble was among the minions Soundwave dispatched to attack this new human threat, leaving one alive for interrogation. The operation was not a success, and eventually, Soundwave was forced to pull out his forces, including Rumble.Nefarious #1
Rumble joined Buzzsaw, Dirt Boss, Beastbox and Ratbat in freeing the captured Soundwave from a Bumblebee led Autobot convoy in New Mexico. Rumble battled Bumblebee, until the latter, seeing his team being overwhelmed, pulled out and allowed the Decepticons to retreive Soundwave. Nefarious #3 Soundwave tracked Ravage to eastern California where the Initiative base was located. After sending in first Dirt Boss, then Ratbat and Buzzsaw, Soundwave let Beastbox and Rumble attack.
