• Clearly Spike shares a rather uncommon last name with Sam Witwicky and his family. What relation he has to them, if any, is as yet unknown. Considering the Autobot Daredevil Squad Multi-Pack uses the Human Alliance Sam Witwicky head as an unmasked Spike, it is possible he was intended to be that character.
