If you haven't yet contributed anything, we'd really rather you didn't simply change jokes or add new ones without adding actual content. This also holds true for removing captions whole-hog or replacing them with "information" that really isn't.

Image sizes

Please keep images below 100KB in size — there should be a warning which comes up if you upload a larger picture. Having huge animated gif on a page which is going to get a lot of traffic in the very near future is not a good idea, 'cos it'll use a whole lot of bandwidth. --abates 22:50, 14 February 2011 (EST)

apostrophe-s

As indicated here, the s after the apostrophe on words ending in s is kept. So these aren't grammatical errors you need to fix. --Detour 14:53, 11 March 2011 (EST)

Huh. I was taught that the s was dropped if there were two or more syllables, as is shown in the Style Guide's examples. Ah, well. I suppose Sister can be wrong from time to time.
