Behold! My new talk page! It'll have the mentioning of my prev post: The caption of 2007 FAB Megatron! The archive is User talk:Kaon Prisoner/Archive 1

Back to the Article...

Just a recap: The caption should be changed, can I disambig, and this is all new. --Kaon Prisoner 19:46, 20 May 2011 (EDT)

Contributions

Are you actually going to contribute to the Wiki? Because making countless edits to your pointless user pages does not constitute that. —Interrobang 20:22, 20 May 2011 (EDT)

??? This irks me. Why do you ask? --Kaon Prisoner 20:23, 20 May 2011 (EDT)
Because you're wasting Wiki resources on inane shit instead of making useful edits? —Interrobang 20:27, 20 May 2011 (EDT)
Sorry, but, from now on, I will close the tabs for the browser I'm using. --Kaon Prisoner 20:29, 20 May 2011 (EDT)
What do your browser tabs have to do with anything? The pages you are making, the edits you are doing take up computer resources on the site's servers. --Khajidha 20:40, 20 May 2011 (EDT)

Disambiguation pages

Disambiguation pages are for main namespace articles. When archiving your talk page, you're welcome to add links to the archives from your talk page as other users have done, but disambiguation pages are not suitable for that purpose. --abates 20:47, 20 May 2011 (EDT)

Oh! Right! Terribly sorry! --Kaon Prisoner 13:43, 22 May 2011 (EDT)

We're back! (to the post.)

The post is the caption for 2007 FAB (Fast Action Battlers) Megatron. The problem is the mention of a non-existing 3rd Predator movie: there was one that came out in 2010, last year. The solution is using said Predator movie. (Predators is the name.) --Kaon Prisoner 13:50, 22 May 2011 (EDT)

The point is: can I change the caption? --Kaon Prisoner 16:33, 22 May 2011 (EDT)

Captions do not have to reflect reality. It would be a pointless change. --abates 02:31, 23 May 2011 (EDT)

And now for something completly different...

Who's in charge here? --Kaon Prisoner 19:41, 22 May 2011 (EDT)

User:ItsWalky, you know, the guy you called an idiot. --Khajidha 20:59, 22 May 2011 (EDT)

Contributions

So far, your contributions to the site consist of the following:

  • Editing your user and talk pages (like, >50% of all your edits)
  • Complaining about captions
  • Telling other users to do something
  • Insulting people

I advise you to take a voluntary time-out. Stop editing/talking for a while and invest time in reading article and help pages. Learn what the site and user base is like and figure out firstly if you can contribute and secondly what you can contribute. Because this may surprise you, but user pages aren't interesting to the tfwiki, so a minimum amount of user page edits is preferred. Captions are very low on the priority list - you shouldn't bother about them until they are the last thing on the page that can be bettered (unless they are offensive). The user base consists of volunteers that can choose for themselves when they get around to making edits - only when a matter otherwise might go unnoticed and you can't make the needed edits yourself should you ask others to do something. And lastly, insulting people is just generally a bad idea no matter where you are. You get frustrated once or twice, fine, but do take a look at your own behavior afterwards.
