Transformers: War Within: The Age of Wrath

A six-part miniseries written by Simon Furman, depicting the beginnings of the Autobot/Decepticon war. It is the sequel to The War Within and The War Within: The Dark Ages. Dreamwave went bankrupt after the publication of issue #3, preventing the publication of the final three issues.

Artist Don Figueroa redesigned dozens of Generation 1 characters for the series, giving them 'Cybertronic' vehicle modes: the designs for Optimus Prime and Starscream were made into toys in the Titanium Series and Cybertron toylines, respectively.
