Dressed in red (and presumably black), Drift is known as a "Merc with a Mouth".

Timelines Drift is a redeco of Generations Drift with a color scheme that strongly resembles that of Prime Knockout. Rather than the swords that came with the original Drift toy, the Shattered Glass version comes with the guns that came with Generations Blurr.

The doors of his vehicle mode have the Chinese/Japanese character 水 (shuǐ in Chinese or mizu in Japanese), which means "water."

This mold was retooled into Generations Blurr.

Notes

• Announced at BotCon 2011, Drift will be a red redeco of his Generations toy, carrying Generations' Blurr's guns instead of the original version's swords.

• The phrase "Merc with a Mouth" is used to describe Marvel Comics' Deadpool. G1 Drift being a silent, sullen, moody, dark anti-hero ninja, it's most fitting that his Shattered Glass opposite is a manic, fourth-wall breaking anti-villian with a thing for Bea Arthur.
