In their quest for oil, the Decepticons had turned hundreds of square miles of Sumatran jungle into a wasteland. When they were long done and gone, Optimus Prime and Prowl arrived at the island in order to confirm suspicions of Decepticon activity, which they were unhappy to find. Storms of Destruction
The Decepticon superjets attacked the Autobot superjets a little southeast of the island of Sumatra, after which they fled towards the Himalaya Mountains. This attack was part of an elaborate scheme to keep the Autobots' attention away fromt he island of Buru. Slaves of the Insecticons
