Transformers will be a live-action movie by Executive Producer Steven Spielberg and Director Michael Bay, starring Shia LaBeouf, Jon Voight, and Megan Fox. The film will arrive in theatres on July 4, 2007. So far fan reaction has been overwhelmingly knee-jerk negative, mainly along the lines of "it's not exactly like it was in 1984".
