- Steeljaw is an evil Autobot Mini-Cassette from the "Shattered Glass" continuity family.
Steeljaw is the very epitome of a pet cat: interested in little else besides eating, sleeping, sunbathing, and occasionally leaving around disgusting, freshly killed things for Blaster to find. Whenever Blaster or the other Autobots try to order him around, or Ravage tries to get his "arch-rival" to fight with him, Steeljaw merely yawns and turns over to tan the other half of himself.
If he could be convinced to actually move, the fearsome-looking, nasty-clawed, winged feline might actually be a dangerous opponent...until you disarmed him with some scritchies in just the right spot behind his ears, that is.

Recordicons #1 At some point, Steeljaw ate Enemy's body. Later Ravage was interrupting Steeljaw's lounging on a rock and Steeljaw inquired why his foe thought they were friends. Ravage reminded Steeljaw of his consumption of Enemy, though his wording initially confused the Autobot. He rhen valiantly threw himself into the heart of the sun to save the rest of humanity from ultimate destruction. Recordicons #4
