Talk:Jem
Given Detour's and anon's latest additions to this page, I need to ask something what we have to do with this page in relation to TF fiction and the Jem franchise. Currently, this page is about the in-fiction fiction (or in-fiction reality? What's to say Jem the sign isn't an advert for an in-fiction real person?). What about the franchise Jem? There's about four arguments (Ramirez, AA2, models in "B.O.T.", SG Misfits) for a page about the franchise to be created, but I wouldn't know if that information should be incorporated in this article or made into a separate page. - Going by the precedent of the Doctor and such, the Notes section is where it'd be at, no? --Detour 02:11, 29 July 2011 (EDT)
- Actually, I think Doctor Who deserves an own page as well, as the Doctor article does not cover a number of Doctor Who references in TF fiction and isn't suited for those either (the line from "Rebirth" about reversing polarities, some stuff from the TAAs, the Dalek altmode of Octus, etc.). - Octus's altmode is covered in the Dalek article. --Detour 02:20, 29 July 2011 (EDT)
- Leo Spitz mentions Doctor Who on TheRealEffingDeal.com, but I don't know if mentions of things on that blog count as canon for the purposes of this wiki. I mean, he links to a lot of random non-TF related stuff on there. --abates 03:03, 29 July 2011 (EDT)

That's really a Jem cameo in a Japanese Transformers cartoon? How'd it get there? Is it from the same animation studio? - Starfield 11:31, 29 July 2011 (EDT)
- Yeah, Toei animated several episodes of Jem as well as Super-God Masterforce, so it was probably just an in-joke. Also, one thing to consider everyone, is that Masterforce takes place, what, 25-30 years after the original Jem series happened in the 80s? I guess Jem's had some work done if she still looks like that in 2015. --DrSpengler 12:25, 29 July 2011 (EDT)
- To be a total geek I have to point out that you're wrong. Jem's appearance was always a holographic projection by Synergy. She could totally look the same in 2015 with no issues at all. Holograms beat surgery anyday.--76.28.76.206 12:43, 29 July 2011 (EDT)
