Destroid
- Destroids are zombie humans from the Masterforce portion of the Generation 1 continuity family.
The Destroids were an early attempt by Blood's gang of Decepticons to fuse Destron power with stolen human corpses. Blood, along with Gilmer and Dauros performed a magical ritual to transfer energy into them.
Though invulnerable to small arms fire, the resulting Destroids had very short lifespans, and disintegrated when their energy had been consumed. Terror! The Decepticons' Manhunt
The second wave of Destroids was made using kidnapped humans from a capture Mont Porte jetliner. To the surprise of the Decepticons, these Destroids exhibited super strength and much greater durability. They were used to attack Rome, where a second Mont Porte plane the Decepticons had attacked bad been forced down. The Autobots subdued this batch of zombies with anesthetic gas. With proper treatment Diver expected them to return to normal.
The Decepticons later turned an Airline attendant into a "Stealth Destroid" which looked human until activated in an attempt to kidnap Nobel Prize winning biologist Professor Blanieux. This Destroid seemed much more intelligent than the others. Kidnapping!? The Targeted Jumbo Jet
Mont Parte flight 308 was originally attacked to kidnap Professor Blanieux, presumably to help improve the Destroid process. Discovering that he was not on the plane, the Decepticons used the Destroid process on the kidnapped humans 'for the hell of it'.
The Decepticons ceased attempting to infuse humans with Decepticon power after recruiting the Headmaster Juniors.
