When Bulkhead and a human were sent back in time by an errant time machine, one of the places they landed was Griffin's Wharf, in December 1773. There they encountered one of the Sons of Liberty, on his way to the Boston Tea Party, and roughed him up a bit to get one of the time machine control spheres back. Time-Quake
