Shūta Gō

Shūta Gō is a human and Autobot Headmaster Junior in the Masterforce portion of Generation 1 continuity family.

The father of Shūta Gō (剛 秀太 Gō Shūta), Professor Gō, was killed in a Decepticon attack. Shūta began the long-standing Transformer anime tradition of the main kid having a scientist father.

Note: Shūta's surname is Gō, and thus would be written 'Gō Shūta' in Japanese, this being the origin of the name he takes when bonded with his Transtector, Goshooter (ゴーシューター, Gō Shūtā). This article presents it westernized, with the surname last.
