Darling, you leave me tongue-tied, tongue-tied, tongue-tied, whenever you are near me...

The father of Shūta Gō (剛 秀太 Gō Shūta), Professor Gō, was killed in a Decepticon attack. Shūta began the long-standing Transformer anime tradition of the main kid having a scientist father.

Shūta is eager to help his new Autobot allies, willing to jump into dangerous situations without hesitation... or thought, really. He means well, but he tends to leap before he looks.

Shūta's surname is Gō, and thus would be written 'Gō Shūta' in Japanese, this being the origin of the name he takes when bonded with his Transtector, Goshooter (ゴーシューター Gōshūtā). This article presents it westernized, with the surname last.

English-Maylay dub name: Siren

Toys

Masterforce

  • Goshooter (Headmaster Junior, 1988)
    • Japanese ID number: C-301
    • Accessories: Headmaster transtector, helmet/seat, rifle, left & right small pistols
Shūta Gō's Transtector transforms into a white Mazda RX-7 police car. The roof is hinged and can be opened to reveal an interior that Shūta can sit inside of. His head guns can be stored on the hood while his rifle can be plugged onto the roof.
In robot mode, like all Headmaster toys, the Goshooter Transtector has a flip-down panel on his chest which covers a spring-loaded mini-Tech-Spec-meter which gives reads for Speed, Strength and Intelligence. The tumblers are activated when Shūta (or any other Headmaster unit) is plugged into his neck socket. Shūta has the Transtector's face plainly visible on his back because, as a smaller Headmaster toy, he lacks the flip down panel featured on larger Headmasters.
The same mold was redecoed from the American Headmaster Siren.
  • Goshooter Siren (Headmaster Junior, 1988)
    • Accessories: Headmaster transtector, helmet/seat, rifle, left & right small pistols
A Siren-decoed version of Goshooter was made available via mail order offer in Japan. He cost 1800 yen and four robot points. It is unknown if he came in a plain mailer box or in Hasbro packaging.
