According to the second Almanac, it's both. The Stellar Cartography page says it's a planet, and it's called the "Quartex system" on the Rock Lords page (89) --abates 16:49, 20 November 2010 (EST)

"Quartex system" is like saying that we live in the "Earth system", it doesn't mean that the official name of the system is Quartex only that it is the system that the planet Quartex is in. --Khajidha 16:52, 20 November 2010 (EST)
