Zella created a substance that, according to simulations, was a working cure against the nano-virus that had affected the population of Autobot City. However, the synthesis could not be recreated on Earth, meaning a group of Autobots had to travel to Nebulos and get the anti-virus. Despite that they were ambushed by the Decepticons as soon as they set foot on Nebulos, Ricochet and Nightstick reached Zella's location.
