When Shockwave seized Decepticon leadership, Megatron, disagreeing with this, shot Shockwave with such force that he flew out of the Ark for miles till he crashed into a Vallemont high school's football stadium. The football team was quite frightened by the giant robot, with one player hoping he wasn't playing for DeForest High.

The ensuing battle between Megatron and Shockwave resulted in multiple instances of property damage till Megatron was short-circuited by water seeping into his previous injuries. Shockwave chose not to kill the fallen Decepticon and took him back to the Ark. The Worse of Two Evils!
