Whirl was part of an Autobot force during the Great War, ordered into battle by Warpath. Presumably, he ended up being either a typical casualty of war, or killed by Oil Slick's Cosmic Rust. Bots of Science

• Since Autobots can't fly, Whirl probably doesn't transform into a helicopter like all the other Whirls do.

• Whirl has the same facial design as Shockwave.
