• Optimus Primal's rescue of the Axalon in the Beast Wars episode "Victory" was an homage to a traditional Superman rescue, complete with "Is it a bird?" "Maybe a plane?" and some very Superman-esque musical cues.
• Numerous Transformers voice actors have voiced the Man Of Steel over the years. Beau Weaver voiced him in the Ruby-Spears-produced 1988 Superman cartoon, Michael Daingerfield, voiced him in the pilot episode of Krypto the Superdog, Crispin Freeman voiced him in the Justice League: Heroes video game, Adam Baldwin voiced him in the Superman: Doomsday DVD movie, David Kaye voiced him in the toy pack-in DVD DC Super Friends and Nolan North currently voices him on the Young Justice cartoon.
