Approximately seven hours ago, some... thing attacked the city. I don't know what it is. If you found this tape, I mean if you're watching this right now, then you probably know more about it than I do.
The Long-legged Decepticon is a Decepticon from the Dark of the Moon portion of the live-action film continuity family.

Despite being a quadruped, the long-legged Decepticon is still a formidable foe to tangle with, towering over many other Cybertronians.

Fiction

Dark of the Moon film

The long-legged Decepticon had been stationed on the Moon until Sentinel Prime activated a space bridge to Earth. Heeding the call of Megatron, he joined the Decepticon beachead in Washington, D.C.. During the invasion of Chicago, he shot at many puny Humans. During the Autobot's attack on the Decepticon stronghold, he was taken down by the Wreckers as he tried to hold a bridge. Notes

  • The long-legged Decepticon bears more than a passing resemblance to the monster in the film Cloverfield, with the extended arms, the four-legged walk, and the smaller arms on the abdomen. The first teasers for Cloverfield were screened during the release of the first Transformers film. Leo Spitz also possessed a Cloverfield poster in the second film.
  • The long-legged Decepticon never transforms in the movie, but from his overall design it appears that he transforms into some kind of military vehicle.
