Gigant Bomb

Gigant Bomb is a Decepticon from the Zone and then Robot Masters portions of the Generation 1 continuity family. Or it is the other way around, we can't really tell.

A colossal Decepticon from the year 2025, Gigant Bomb (ギガントボム Giganto Bomu) traveled through the Blasty Zone to the year 2004. Joining with the Decepticons of that era and partnering with Smokesniper to form the super aircraft Gigantsniper, Gigant Bomb is a grave threat to the Autobots. Luckily for them, his old enemies Star Saber and Victory Leo have followed him to the past!

Gigant Bomb has an internal purification plant that can rapidly absorb and utilize almost any form of energy, enhancing his offensive and defensive capabilities.

Gigant Bomb, infused with a chunk of solitarium, joined his partner Smokesniper in beating up Mirage and Bound Rogue. They then clobbered Optimus Prime and Optimus Primal, but Star Saber and Victory Leo intervened. Combining to form Victory Saber, the solitarium was sliced right out of Gigant Bomb, and the two Decepticons were sent running. The Victory Warriors Enter!!

Gigant Bomb delivered Beast Megatron to the scene of a battle between Starscream, Wingstun, Victory Saber and Optimus Prime. Gigant Bomb and Smokesniper then chased Optimus Prime through a canyon, but their pursuit was interrupted by the approach of Star Saber. The giant Autobot held the two at bay, allowing Optimus to continue on to battle Beast Megatron on-on-one. They retreated with the other Decepticons when Optimus Prime and Optimus Primal's "Double Prime Tornado" sent Beast Megatron packing. Fight! The Group of the Strongest Commanders!

A redeco of the Generation 2 Dreadwing toy, Gigant Bomb transforms into a "flying wing" style stealth bomber with under-slung six-missile gatling cannon. He can also transform into a treaded "tank" mode. In jet form, he can combine with Smokesniper's jet mode to make a complete aircraft called Gigantsniper.

Unique to this release is the solitarium weapon "Pulverizer", a hand-held non-firing cannon. It can combine with Smokesniper's unique weapon, the "Radial Pod". Also, this is the only time this mold was sold separately from the smaller partner unit.

The same mold is used by BB and Dreadwind. The mold was also intended to be used for Megatron in Generation 2, but was never released. It was also repurposed for Shattered Glass Darkwind.
